Don't forget you can cast from your smart phone to your smart TV, you obviously need a VPN on the phone. Also if you have a old laptop or PC base unit you can plug them into your TV, very handy for browsing the net or watching films you have stored on them (external hard drive works for this purpose too). I take a 1TB SSD drive loaded with videos when I travel, the fast majority of TVs these days have a USB port, just plug the drive in and watch what I fancy.
