Where does inland start?

We hear that people are moving inland but what is considered inland?
How far from the coast? 5,10Km or is it where the building stops?

There's plenty of building inland too! I think inland is anywhere that isn't a coastal resort.

Can't speak for all of Spain but, through the Costa Blanca area I would politely suggest anwhere to the west of the A7/E15 (Autovia Mediterraneo) could be roughly considered inland.

All of the 'heavy' development seems to occur along the coastal strip to its eastern side, this is only my observation mind!

It starts when the prices get to where they should be!

About 40 mins drive I would think as its then too far to be based there and go to work - unless youre mad or like travelling!!

If the prices on the coast were where they should be, inland property would be half the price! :D

'Inland' starts where the menus are just in Spanish. Come to think of it - most places 'inland' don't have menus...

We have a place in Jesus Pobre, just 7km or so from the coast and all the menus are in Spanish.
