I am fed up of losing channels on Sky when it rains - so I would like to get a 1.8cm dish in the Chiclana area - any ideas???

Re: Where can I get one?? (1.8m dish)
If you do replace your dish, you may have to get a new LNB to
go with it.
When I was installing my (1.8m) dish I just used a bog-standard LNB
and got very disappointing results. The best advice I could get said
that my old LNB wasn't "seeing" the whole dish[1].
I was recommended to get an Invacom LNB with a C120 flange.
Further, I was told that the best one of this range was the quad output
one (i.e. will feed 4 separate digiboxes) - even tho' I only wanted to
use 1 output. Since I was getting this advice from many sources, not
just the guy who sells this stuff I went with it. Cost about 100 quid.
I now have my dish set up and pulling in all the $ky channels - tho'
I still can't get C4, C5 or most of the radio stations.

[1] I was somewhat doubtful about this explanation, but there does
seem to be a real difference between LNBs for "offset" dishes, the ones
with a single arm off the bottom of the dish and "prime focus" dishes
with 3 struts holding the LNB at the centre of the dish.
go with it.
