Where to buy bicycles?
Hi folks,
Can anyone in the Pinoso/Jumilla area tell me where I can buy a couple of bog standard bicycles? They don't even need to be new, just fit for purpose.
My husband and I have been trying to find information about cycle shops in the area but all I can find is either hire bikes or specialist bike sites - along with an abundance of photos of fit guys in lycra (good) and price tags going up from 500 to around 3000 euros (not good). I just want something that'll fit a basket on front or back with which I can ride into Pinoso and back.
Second question - once we've got the bikes we'll need one of those plastic shed things to put them and the gardening equipment in. Where would I go to arrange for one of those to be delivered to my garden?
Thanks.

I am not sure about local shops but there are classifieds in the local TIM magazines which you can view on line www.timspain.com and also the regional Murcia Today website which may have bikes for sale. We found that going to Decathlon gave us a better choice and lower price range than in our towns bicycle shops which were all very specialist.

Do you have a Carrefour or Leroy Merlin in your area? You would be able to get bikes from the first (or at Decathlon as mentioned above) and sheds from the second. We bought a shed from LR and they delivered it free of charge.
Just a thought, if you are not permanent residents (you may be) do you want to leave the bikes outside if you are not there? I would be worried that they are not there when I return.
