Wheelchair - loan/hire
 

Morning All

We are trying to bring Mother in Law down in November and although she is quite mobile.. it may be easier to get round town, sightseeing etc with a wheelchair for her/US!... Does anyone know if there is any facility for hire /loan etc of such a vehicle around Ayamonte ?? :fingerscrossed:

Hi I don't around but is there a branch of Age Concern near by they may have access to one, also try the Red Cross ? and I am sure I have seen somewhere in town a shop for aids for the elderly but the life of me I cannot think where sorry. Is there a pensioners centre in Ayamonte ? they also may be a place to try. Good luck. If you get stuck get back to me I may be able to source one from another area.

Thank you Captains Wench.... I will look up the Red Cross... We will be out to Ayamonte before we need it so can have a good look round.

I second the Red Cross. Although not in Spain, my sister recently needed one for my nephew and his broken leg and the Red Cross came up trumps. Said she could have a wheelchair for a month at no charge, just a kind donation when she returned the chair.
