Re: What tariff
Its been 10 days or so now.
Last night I had a call at 5.30 telling me it would be with me in 5 minutes. I'm still waiting 16 hours later!
I have almost lost hope to be honest.
I have called them about 7 times, sent three emails. They are very polite and seem to be trying to help, but the net result is nothing. I am no further forward than I was 1o days ago
I'm sure that it might be a good service as regards the calls from what I hear, but their system seems incapable of getting a simple sim card to me.

Re: What tariff
What you're missing is that the Spanish are making national calls which are cheap or even free? depending which company/contract you've got. In any case, calling the UK on a mobile is expensive to the point that I'd only do it in an emergency. I use a landline for international calls.

Re: What tariff
I have an internet phone co system where the box is plugged into the router and I use a normal phone to make calls, so only pay 1 p a minute for calls to the UK, and nothing to call people who are on the same system as I (and I have a UK telephone number). Also theres SKYPE

Re: What tariff
As far as Masmovil are concerned, I received my SIM yesterday ... well, actually I drove to the couriers premises in Gandia to get it.
Stuck it in the phone and after a few tweaks it is working perfectly.
I'm quite pleased that you can go onto your own section on the web site and change many things regarding your account and phone settings.
The staff there have been fine all the way through, it was really just the courier who messed things up. He must have an aversion to coming up our mountain
So far therefore, good reports re masmovil
