What can/cannot you do without

Ihave just spotted this article online and thought it may make a lighthearted thread:-
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...g-machine.html

I can do without the second alarm on my alarm clock. What is the point.

The less bells and whistles the better for me, I am getting to the time of life where I'm easily confused.

I generally stick with the basic and less expensive models now.
They're normally the most reliable and cost much less to repair and replace.

I don't understand all the different cycles on my machine, everything goes on a cool gentle cycle and its job done for me.

Me too - just two cycles - a cool minimum wash for most things and the occasional 'blast it' hot cycle :)

Can't do without - moisturiser, hand cream and, number one, LIPSALVE - can't function without it!!!!!

Had to replace my washing machine recently and the woman in the electric shop pointed to one and said that all you need is the two basic cycles and showed me a very straight forward machine. When her husband delivered and installed it he showed me all the functions and I realised that the only extra one that I use is spinning clothes that I have hand washed. Same with most gadgets and machines though, I think that the vast majority of people do not utilise all the functions that are possible.

I take it that even the Spanish will have been pleased to see the back of you then. ;)
I did wonder why UK insurance premiums took such a big jump not so long ago.

Can't do without books, good food and sad to say computers:o

The 'good food' went out the window today (sort of), home made chips cooked in beef dripping between two thick slices of still warm crusty bread and French butter...home made pickled eggs and cabbage to go with it:cool: Bloomin lovely :)
