Oh yes they do! I can always spot the Brits by their clothes, especially the Blue Harbour generation. :D ;) |

And every time I paid the bill and left a tip, the waitress said Thank You, in English. Tipping will always always give me away in Spain, but I don't care, I can't change that. But I love Semana Santa. |

Re: Welcome to Spain
You're probably right about the tipping. But there are other little things too.
I've got blue eyes, not a big deal and five percent of Spanish people have blue eyes too. I'm quite tall, but not all Spanish people are squat with bandy legs, look at their basket ball team. My blond hair is awkward too, but the great leveller is on its way and when we're all grey, hair colour is unimportant. But we all have a cross to bear and Semana Santa is there to remind us. Best to look on the bright side of life, I've forgotten the rest of the song. |

Just tried to be helpful, YES!!! FREE HELP!!! you understand?? I teach french, spanish, english and math, and I'm not looking for students because I have no time left, I know nothing about green cards, houses being knocked down in andalucÃa...etc... but what I really don't need is all this filthy yack yack around, so I'm sure that all these good-for-nothing judges who have no other better thing to do than worthless barking all day, will always be there to give a hand to all their dear expats in Spain and around the world. JA-JA-JA. Good luck and feel sorry for the rest. Adiós carauelas.

Unfortunately we are not all exactly renowned for our gentlemanly and ladylike conduct on here. I took note of your posts on the other thread and see you had the best of intentions. Maybe if you had been a little more detailed regarding your initial post on this thread, things may have gone a bit better. Anyways I wish you well and hope you aren't leaving us for good. |
