Web cam recommendations

Hi all,
Thinking of getting a web cam possibly to use with Skype.
I have no knowledge of this techno so any recommendations or advice gratefully appreciated.

As already mantioned Logitech are fine. I use a microsoft webcam, a vx-3000. Not an expensive one and works a treat.

Thanks,
Some seem to need software installed to use them, others don't, some seem to work with different messaging services (e.g windows, yahoo) others don't.
Are they easy to install and use for PC dumbo's:blink:

dont be tempted to buy a cheapo chinese one from a todo shop tho :( that will really not be what you want.

can get a decent one for 10€ or so from worten / media mart carrefour or something if you have one nearby ?

10 sounds good to me, thanks for that. Over an hour drive to anywhere from where I am so petrol costs more than webcam, next trip out.
