Forecast on Spanish TV for the costas Blanca and Del Sol are fro heay rain for the next few days.. BUT.. it can be very local, they can have a downpour 10 Km away and oyu be dry. Rain Sunday night here, and very cloudy today, so could easily get a lot of rain.

Here in the mountains at 1000m we have been either in or above the clouds yesterday and most of today and yesterday it was raining (Much needed).
Now however, it has cleared, the clouds have risen and it is what I call 'milky' -bright cloudy light that you never see in the UK.
Maybe that is why it is called Andalucia - Land of Light.
(It is so beautiful here -mountains in front and behinfd our house, wreathed in cloud and in the winter covered in snow.
Why then do I keep wanting to go back to the UK?).

Yes I certainly have, it's a wonderful sight.
We're on the other side of the Sierra Nevada, the southern side, and there is a string of small villages all across the mountains on the fault lines - at night they all light up like stars - in fact sometimes it is difficult to see where the villages end and the stars begin - these are mainly high villages and sometimes it looks as though they are floating in the air.
Absolutely beautiful and such a BIG sky.
