Your question doesn't make much sense without some context - what sort of water tank is it, and what are lids usually made of? ...... In any case you will certainly be more likely to get a useful answer by posting in the Spain subforum.

Hi there and welcome to British Expats.

I doubt anyone in the Welcome Inn will be able to help with this at all , so I will move this for you into the Spain forum.

Hopefully someone will be along to help .

You don't give your whereabouts in Spain John, neither do you give the size of your tank or its shape.

You will find they come in sizes from 200 litres all the way up to 6000 litres, so a big size difference. Your problem really is going to be sourcing a lid without the tank!

I would suggest changing the full tank and change it for a 'sealed' plastic/polythene one which are much more durable than the grp. By sealed I mean they have a screw on access hatch at the top. Places like Brico Depot do them a 3000litre tank is around 500€

In our rural area, builders merchants supply and deliver water tanks. So that would be my first port of call . They will have a catalogue .

Take your measurements along with you. Ours is 2000 litres and cylindrical and cost 230 euros including delivery and placing. The lid is surprisingly awkward and large to handle even with two people. I hold our lid on with 3 cable ties through small holes I drilled. Many years ago it flew away in strong wind despite being weighted down.

The clangers may have one , I believe they used them to cover their crater burrows

May be steel not fibreglass ( as they seemed to resemble dustbin lids )

Other than that not too sure , maybe some one could fabricate one ?
