Water problems for living in Spain

Having lived worked and travelled around the majority of Spain, it would seem that Andalucia, Extremadura and Castilla- La Mancha have the worst problems with the embalses being very low throughout the winter months.

What does the future hold for those regions, and is it likely to revert back to the days' of 95,96 summers when water was seriously rationed or cut off totally for whatever period was chosen

What and when and if will anything ever be done about this situation

In the year 2005/2006 the majority of new inmigrantes settled in the following in order of highest %
C. la Mancha......38.59%
Murcia...............28.07%
C.y Leon............27.23%
Asturias.............22.33%
Navarra.............22.08%
Cantabria...........20.61%
Galicia...............14.41%
Valencia.............09.00%
Andalucia...........07.98%

These are records printed as in last sunday's periodico La Razon, and taken from the Federacion de Trabajadores de España and patrimonio.

Interesting when Andalucia was alway's the place that held the most interest for most foreigners, and 13.7% of the above figures are from the Reino Unido the highest figure from the Union Europea:eek:
