There is this great big round yellow thing in the sky......Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No.....it definitely looks like it might be the SUN! :rofl: :p

And it's about time too! ;)

we've got it back just for your arrival, don't worry in a few days the UK will have lost sight of it again and it will be snowing there again. 4 flakes of snow and the whole transport system will crash.

Wish I'd read your warning yesterday, Martha.....................

It was indeed a huge shock to the system, to see that strange yellow object in the sky for the first time in at least two weeks.
Off I went with my walking friends, had a lovely walk (17km) and enjoyed a relaxed lunch sitting on rocks and soaking up the strange yellow medicine.

My friends commented that I was getting rather red on the back of my neck, but I didn't think much more of it once I'd put some cream on.

It wasn't until I got home that I realised I had a very red face.........complete with a lovely white shaded area where my sunglasses had been!! :eek:
I now look like Zorro.............only my mask is white, not black! :ohmy: :o

Up until now I've only had to think about carrying wet weather gear; obviously the rucksack is due an overhaul, and it's time for the summer stuff to be packed!

By the way, hope you have a wonderful time in Greece next week.
3 days sounds such a short time after 3 years, but I'm sure you'll manage to get the most out of every second.

well what a B E A U T I F U L day - drove down to Benidorm, absolutely gorgeous :thumbup:

was harassed by some scratch card lout - not sure what the catch was but when I scratched my card, I had 3 star which meant I had won either, 1000€cash, a holiday or a camcorder which could have today BUT hubby was well suss as we had to go with him to some office to "confirm who we were" and pretend we were on holiday, he said it was nothing to do with timeshare

anyway OH said thanks but no thanks and off we went without our "prize" Im so gullable though I would have gone with him

anyone know if this is a genuine "prize giveaway" :unsure:

I know that they say " if its too good to be true........."

Hey there gorgeous ;)

It was too bloody hot today:rofl: :rofl:

Took off this morning on the scooter as had meetings with 4 banks, then the Suma office to pay a grand total of €6.65 for scooter tax (had to wait a little over an hour), then meeting at the town hall and finally a meeting with the big boss for an update and moan about our 7 day leave :blink:

By the time we got back here this evening I was hot, bothered, hungry, thirsty and ready to throw in the towel :rofl:

What is the phrase people use......."Welcome to sunny Spain, a place for rest and relaxation by the pool".....yeah, right!!!*lol*

On the bright side, all my washing has dried :p

BUT

IM so curious, it was weird though as he said there was a playstation there my son could play on !!!!! so they must intend to keep you there a while, oh well now I will never know - and probably just as well :cool:

They would just keep you there till they got a few grand deposit for "A holiday Club" scheme, timeshare re new name.
