Seems the further south you go the worse it seems to be,

Seems parts of Andalucia are at greatest risk, so you should be ok in the Calpe region.

You're best off moving to Madrid. According to the map, not in an Earthquake danger zone, and too far from any coast to be affected by any tsunamis.

"There are 2.500 earthquakes every year in Spain. But most of them are so weak that people do not notice them. But they are registered by the seismological stations. Only when an earthquake has an intensity of more than 4 degrees on the Richter scale we can risk damages, inside the houses by cups and glasses moving, outside by roof tiles or part of house walls falling into the street"

"The African tectonic plate is colliding with the European-Asian plate along a fault going from the Azores islands and passing into the Mediterranean over the Gibraltar strait. The African plate is pushing Spain 4 millimeter to the north east every year.
The European Union is financing scientific investigations of the seismic situation in this region and the possibilities of further important earthquakes.
Spain has strict legislation on construction, aiming at making the buildings resistant to earthquakes."

No the legislation is strict as good as anywhere its the application that matters. The geological survey for instance a large up front cost but if this is not done how can the structure be designed to the strict codes? I bet a lot of builders and self developers try to avoid that cost though. Fred and I are alright though we had it done and started from there!

So in a few billion years we could end up back where we started, or our ancestors at least.
There was a minor tremor just over a week ago in Spain.
I saw some clips on Spanish news showing where the fronts of a few cave houses had totally collapsed.
