Default Want to know if your house has gone up or down in value?

Thought some of you might find this interesting. It's the half yearly report from the Sociedad de Tasacion - an asset valuation company. It covers the whole of Spain and gives the differences in property values for each town between now and six months ago. (And further back if you can be bothered to dig).

http://web.st-tasacion.es/html/menu6_2.php

When you enter click on Dossier de Prensa EspaƱa and it opens a pdf document that you can save to your comp.

And before you say you can get the same info from Kyero, no you can't. Kyero is a totally different type of company and seriously lacks data for many towns. Some of it is laughable. This info is based on 400 towns across Spain and the study is carried out by professional valuers (ie, they are not trying to sell you anything).

At a quick glance, the biggest losers seem to be some areas of Madrid, Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife and Fuengirola.

Around Fuengirola there are soooo many two bed apartments for sale, and they are still building them
Mind you building has fallen 35 % this year in Malaga province ?
