Visit to Spain Spring 2011
 

In our continuing search for somewhere to hang our hats in Spain, our next visit is in spring this year.

We will be staying in self catering accommodation in L'Albir.

This time round we will be concentrating on the coastal areas between Ondara and L'Albir.

Jill (Library Ticket) & I would very much like to meet one or two BE members if they live in the vicinity to chat about the area. We will have a hire car and therefore would have no problems meeting anywhere of your choice

A menu del día or a even just a coffee whilst we have a little chat is what we had in mind, nothing too heavy.

If any of you are willing to meet up please let us know and we can pm the details nearer the time.

If I knew where L'Albir was I would say yes!! Where abouts is it??

It's a couple of miles north of Benidorm, which isn't a place we're planning to live.

So we'll be looking at anywhere coastal which is north of L'Albir but still within 1.5 hours drive of Alicante airport (even if that means that Valencia airport is closer).

We've already had an offer of a meet from one forum member by PM, which we are arranging, but if anyone else in the area is willing to give up an hour or two we'd be delighted to meet up.

Post again when you've laid plans, there are quite a few BE faithfuls here to choose from for targeting a meet!

(might be a good excuse for some of us to meet each other - I've never knowlingly clapped eyes on anyone, though any number of us might have bumped into each other in Carrefour for all I know!!)

I have started a new thread about where and why people live in a certain area, would you post on it please, I would be interested in hearing about Colmenar. I started a new thread so as not to take stevesainty thread off topic.
