thanks for the sites

the problem we are having is telling the dealer in Spain what we need, I need to know what its called in Spanish ...we have explained what its for but.....

The van is now in France waiting to be re-registered but the new owner cant do it til they get the cert....and thats where we are stuck !! The dealer hasnt got a clue tbh

Thats why I wondered if there was someone on here that actually had the document they could tell me what it was called

If you check one of the sites, it actually says (I think) that you should approach the van manufacturer for it. I suspect it's something they are asked for quite often

yes, and we have done that, approached both Opel and the local dealer we bought from

Opel referred us to the dealer and the dealer was confused what we were on about

I just dont get what the problem is....Opel know what the CoC is.....they said the dealer would send it...but what we received wasnt the CoC......

When we spoke to the dealer they said the Coc doesnt exist for the van

aaarrrrgggghhh

Meanwhile, the guy who bought it from us cant use it, til we get this sorted !!!!

we have done it ourselves already a year ago...we sold our Spanish car to someone in France so we know how it all works

The difficulty we are having is getting the CoC because its a van.....and no one seems to know what its called for a commercial vehicle

Hi

A SPANISH engineer can produce a "Ficha technical reducida" which is required for the ITV centre. The ITV centre can usually recommend the necessary engineer.

But if the van is in France you may have difficulties

Is that for a coach built van, like a Luton type of bodywork or for all even those which the same straight off the production line?

Maybe it was regitered as a motorhome or before the legislation came in?
Cant see passengers getting into a RHD on a busy road without major problems
