Happy to help out if I can.i am based in and around Valencia and can confirm the water is all but undrinkable unless you have reverse osmosis and decalcifier which we do. Everything else about the city you will probably love. I have just helped a couple of forum posters here get their kids into the international schools here so if that is what you want info in just ask. Regards

There is a British School in Alzira and another one in Xativa, both towns are about 25 minutes from Valencia by train. Oh! and the water is fine in Alberic.

The water here is wonderful!

We live just outside Valencia and drink the tap water and never buy bottled.

Our Water board is CV Plantio, in Paterna.

My daughter's international school, El PLantio, offered door to door pick-up by coach and school lunches were compulsory, so no leaving at lunch times.

I dont think the bad water is enough to put someone off living here. It dosent taste great and leaves lots of scale but there are areas in the UK also which suffer this problem.

Water is cheap to buy for drinking but we use tap water for everything else.
