Utility companies

Does anyone have guidance as to what can be done about someone fraudulently signing my electricity contract, have made a denuncia today but was told, this happens frequently in Spain and not to expect a favourable outcome as I've taken to long to go to Police.

Hi and a warm welcome to the Spanish forum on BE. Myself and Fred James are the moderators for the Spanish forums whilst BEVS moderates Europe. Dear Rosemary and Fred James,
The Elec company falsified my signature and after just over 2 years they refused to pay me any monies back, after constantly asking that the Home Protection insurance be cancelled they eventually said this is what id signed up for and then they provided me with a copy of the contract, this being the 1 st time id seen my contract. I was horrified to see someone elses signature on the document , i can only presume thats why they held it back, knowing that a dumb brit had left it too long to do anything about it, so they thought just 2 months recompense was good enough. Is there any recourse, as I said the Police didnt hold much hope.
Regards Francesca
