Using a Code at the Correos to return goods
Hi,
I've had an issue with a company that is slowing getting resolved. They have given me a code to take to the Post Office to use to return their goods (a small box containing some electronics). Has anyone any experience of this process? It is a 23 character string of letters and numbers. Is this a tracking code for the Express service available at the Post Office or something else? As my Spanish is still quite basic I'll take some brief instructions on paper in case I have any issues being understood but ideally I'd like to understand what it is I am trying to do before I get there. Thanks as always, Adam |
Re: Using a Code at the Correos to return goods
Ah well, it turns out Ive answered my own question. I went to the Correos website to see if the code I have is indeed a tracking code and indeed it is. The search shows me it is a 'Pre Registered' code and that their system is waiting for the package to be deposited.
I'll leave this thread here regardless in case anyone has anything useful to add or in case it might help anyone else in the months / years to come. |

Re: Using a Code at the Correos to return goods
I needed to return an item to Amazon so I went to Correos expecting it to be complicated (OK I had it boxed up and labelled with Amazon supplied label) but Correos processed it with no problems at all. Just a case of having faith I guess..
