Unlocking Mobiles

Does anyone know where I could get a mobile phone 'unlocked' in Chiclana area? Also what it costs over there. I know its about £10 here and wondered if its cheaper in Spain (if possible in the first place). Thanks

Depends on what phone it is, but usually 10€.
Try here register and ask for an unlock code follow instrutions on how and which forum to post in and do it yourself for free. They tell you how to do it in a tutorial.

There's a place in Jerez that say they unblock phones. It's near to the comisaria that deals with NIE's.

JDR Thank you so much! It worked. The last time my son and I tried it, you had to have some sort of cable to connect to the PC in order to unlock a phone but technology has obviously moved on and left us behind. Can't tell you how grateful I am. The boy's phone was on its last legs and this one of the same model had been abandoned by a colleague of husband at the office. We didn't want to pay £10 get it unlocked in case it was no good, but this way we can find out without it costing. Its the same model as son's and he really wanted to keep the model rather than having a new one. Economical son Ive got.

So thank you again.

No Problem, glad it worked, some phones need to be unlocked with a gadget called a clip and these are quite expensive, so they charge quite a bit to do it for you to cover the cost of the clip.
