I heard they are going to deporttwoBritish citizens that have been arrested for something. Think they will deport the people that are out there undocumented and causing headaches for the Spanish. And there are a lot of them in Marbella and other areas full of expats. Brexit will probably make things better for a lot of areas if they get rid or all the arse holes.

Last week Spanish government denies such reports :
"Spanish government sources have lamented what they say are misleading reports in UK media suggesting they will be “deporting” or “kicking out” 500 British nationals in the coming days."

Sounds like a plan. Those who lived there under the radar for years are now drawing attention to themselves by complaining.

They do realise this is because we've left the EU, right? And that this figure has always been higher for non-EU nationals....

And the recent UK govt report denies there's racism in the UK. I'd be surprised if the Spanish government had confirmed the story was true.

I'd call it, the pot calling the kettle black, myself...

The British, who for generations treated outsiders as second class citizens, are now crying foul, and claiming discrimination.

You couldn't make it up!

But we will expect every other country not to control their borders when it comes to Brits entering other countries.

It seems unbelievable that the UK is being highlighted for its negative treatment of 'outsiders' in comparison with Spain.

I wonder how many members have ever seen a 'black' or even a 'non white' person in any sort of civil service job.
Moroccan people have been here for generations yet hardly any hold positions of responsibilty.
Someone mentioned the treatment or mistreatment of traveller/gypsies........Spain does not score well on that point either.

Look around at how many non white people are on spanish TV, politicians, actors, presenters, news and and current affairs etc.
They are as rare as double yolked eggs.

The UK may treat outsiders differently, but Spain cannot be held up as a good example of good treatment at all.

Treatment of 'outsiders/ minorities in the UK has progressed, the same cannot be said of Spain.

It happens in many countries. It shouldn't, and I wish it didn't, but I don't recall anyone suggesting it doesn't happen in Spain.

If you live in the UK regardless on what race you are. You are very very lucky. Even the slums on Manchester look like heaven in comparison to the ghettos of Spain and France.

I think the above quote makes it a bit clearer for you. The British have been singled out for treating outsiders as second class citizens.
