Unable to log into gmail
 

During the last 2 days I have been unable to log into my gmail account, the page, in Spanish ( even though English is selected) says that my browser is Obsolete and that I must install google chrome. I have tried via MSN but the result is the same.
What are my options?? Is there a non american email service that is half decent??

Ok sorted it, It had been updated to G+ ???, Uninstalled it and it is back to normal.
A new mail service would still be a good idea though................

i have both IE and Chrome on my desktop, always saying IE isn't supported - perhaps that may be right as it is 3-4 years since I updated anything existing on the HD

I have a business email, that went belly up for about 5 days because of a server problem - I didn't know my supplier was using an Australian service with his own badge on it and their servers were playing up, and no notification or apology.
but by then I had told registered on Gmail and got everyone to talk to me via that.

think most people have a problem from time to time, too many updates conflicting with each other is usually the problem, entailing another update.
but it keeps someone somewhere employed I suppose

I think everyone had a problem a few days ago, but as you say it's back to normal now. Along with Gmail I run Hotmail, it's always good to have a second option....and I never get spam in Hotmail either.

Non-American is really hard, i'd love to find a non-NSA watched email service as well, but what can ya do... Everything on the internet usually has something to do with the US.
