UK DVD Player - will it work

I have a spare DVD player and was planning to take it over to Spain on our next BA flight, will it work with a Spanish TV and am I able to carry it on as Hand Luggage ?

It is PAL and NTSC

It will work as long as you connect it to the TV with a Scart lead. The old problem of not getting the sound only applies to connections with an RF flylead and very few DVD players (if any) have an RF output.

You can certainly carry it as hand luggage, there are no inter-EU restrictions on what citizens can move from one country to another (apart from booze & baccy etc).
