well its been about 8 year or so, so maybe! Luckily my husband is a Doctor and we have our own practice so I dont need it really lol. Suppose i should chase it up really as I may need it one day

I think you maybe should - although I've never needed to show ours in the medical centre, we do have to produce them at the hospital

you'd need them as well if you were travelling in other parts of Spain

Thanks to everyone for your advice,John was an Auonomo so we have our AC Tarjeta Sanitaria.
He is now a jubilado so we need to go to INSS Benidorm to hand in the S1 and get the new card at least apply and wait !
I do remember Sue who is much younger than her spouse,get the cover because George who is a jubilado.
