Not nice to be subject to violent crime. Though i live in the same place and class it as very crime free and a safe place to be and so do a lot of other residents. I have heard of one story of eastern Europeans fire bombing some nightclub. The nearest thing to a break in here for years was some Romanian gypsies so i have been told.

I wonder if they will clamp down on British cars now then ? Seem to be a lot round here and some years old though they never get stopped only the Spanish plated cars.

I think now the Guardia cars are being fitted with VPR cameras things will change.

If only he had read the two or three hundred threads in the European forums here on UK cars. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I often think this when i am walking around and see them all in there UK cars. Best one is president of our group of houses is a right tackler for rules yet they drive round in a Q plated car :rofl:

I saw a big black Hummer on UK plates, sign written for some sailing club or something.
I would love to see his face as the crusher got it.

According to the police who have actually found one of the people that attacked my friend in a botched burglary, they broke into his place because they saw he was British from his UK plated car!

I guess British = Rich pickings... yeah right :)

Just been told in the pub the guardia were down at La Cala towing away English car after English car. Unsure of reason but seems likely to be linked to this post with it being a few km up the road from the newspaper article.

They usually put a road block where the monument on the rock is, and the other day they were outside Dunnes in Fuengirola on the roundabout another UK car hotspot..

Could you please send them over here? Far too many un-insured, un-MOTd, un-registered, un-taxed UK plated cars around here.

In fact, they could start at Alicante airport by crushing all the D-reg escorts and N-reg renaults with 1990's tax discs, deflated tyres and the words "clean me" enscribed along with a large cartoon willy in the inch-thick layer of dust.

Would give me more spaces to park my Spanish plated car closer to the terminal building. :rofl:

Fully agree! there has been a lot of Guardia and local police activity round this area recently, pulling NON SPANISH reg cars, UK German etc and seeming to ask for papers. Spanish reg cars have been ignored. Hope they have pulled in a lot.
