UK CAR CONVERSION

I have been informed that the cost of converting a UK car to Spanish plate with IVA etc is about €1000. We are considering buying and transporting a disel car any help or advice appreciated.

Buy it in spain much easier and if you shop around some bargains to be had. Be careful, the PDF filter on some diesels is prone to clogging if you use the vehicle for short distances only.

It depends on the value of the car! I have a fluent Spanish speaking English friend who does this - he is a 'red-tape' fixer :)
