It seems that from 1st no further contracts can be entered into but existing ones can be fulfilled.

and lots of the private communications companies are not too happy about being "taxed" more to help fund TVE.....

adverts are due to be phased out over the coming months, depending on existing contracts etc.

the idea being that the advertisers move their money to the private tv companies to help them survive

there a 3 % on all Media companys and Telecommunications , watch your phone bill go up next year ,
ie radio , tv (canal + ), News papers , telphone company (landline and mobiles phones)

Now call rtve.s.a. 1 January 2007 the RTVE Corporation came into existence
befor it was TVE, S.A. and RNE, S.A were dissolved . As part of the 2007 restructuring, a controversial plan was put into action to reduce the workforce by 4,855 through attrition and retirement incentives, in spite of the fact that RTVE is the European public broadcasting service with the smallest workforce .

adverts are due to be phased out over the coming months only been 2 channels been tve1 and la2 rest can run sponsors tv show News and weather . adds where stop been sold in July off this year but will see some over the christmas holiday
