Default tv in spain

Hi ,
to all you people currently living in Spain.
I wonder if anyone can tell me if the Spanish have banned or stopped cable, sky or any other British tv from being broadcast in Spain?
Thanks.

Spanish cannot stop or ban other countries transmissions....
but the UK broadcasters CAN and DO restrict their viewing, either by weak signal or viewing cards........hence the need for BIG dishes (for the weaker signal satellites), and the requirement to get a sky card "at a uK address"...

Spanish authorities HAVE stopped certain rebroadcast and cable companies transmitting PAY (ie Sky pay ) channels.
