Default TV Dongle

Hello learned friends.
I have seen a tv "dongle" which is suitable for laptops etc. Does anyone know if this will work all over Europe,(ideal for carravaners if it would as lots of caravan sites have wi-fi).
Thanks for your time, tuk-tuk.

a tv dongle is designed for reception of terrestrial tv siganls - either analogue or digital.

so in the UK it will pick up Freeview.
in Spain it will pick up TDT

Correct...and to get any sort of decent performance you will probably need to connect a good aerial to it as well.
