Think our worldwide travel insurance is about £157. There were 3 levels and we went for the one that covers holidays up to £5000. I was charged an extra £15 for a heart murmur but only because I don't have/need treatment or medication.

You have to declare almost everything, even if you have only had tests as they will do their utmost to avoid paying out. Sometimes when I see people on holiday in wheelchairs, with oxygen tanks etc. I wonder if they have been upfront about their history. I could relate lots of horror stories from when OH worked at the CDS hospital¬
