Re: Travel Insurance
I have just taken out a yearly worldwide policy with http://www.ibexinsure.com/ at a cost of €230 for two of us.
They have cheaper alternatives.

Re: Travel Insurance
I have just tried Global and got a quote of £251
A few days ago I tried Staysure after doing a search for Travel Insurance on BE Spain they will insure Expats living anywhere within the EU with only one exception.
Guess where?
Gibraltar
So for all Expats living in the other 27 member states please note that Staysure will insure you to visit me but they will not insure me to visit you

Re: Travel Insurance
The only information the Global "Quote" was based on
Multi Trip - worldwide multiple journeys over a period of 12 Months.
1 person 66 to 75 the other 19 to 65
£251
Wait until they ask about the size of the Chemists Shop we have to carry with us

Late 50's, early 60's. No, we dont have limited cover but we dont have cover for skiing equipment or golf clubs, no :-). No, not got any existing conditions. These are usually excluded or additional premium taken. When I fractured my skull they wanted an additional £60 for only the following year, then it went back to normal

Re: Travel Insurance
Yes, existing conditions are the pricey bit, I just exclude them and take a chance, never had a claim in around 30 years of holidaying abroad. Friend of mine has leukaemia and it cost him around £250 just for a one trip insurance, can't remember how long, but no more than 2 weeks.
