Smile the time has come

Finally we are moving to spain. The house is rented and we are moving over on or about 1st february.Initially we are going to rent a property for 1 year. This is where we need your help or advice.
The area we plan on living after our 6 week tour or spain in oct/nov was CALPE/DENIA/BENISSA.We need your advice on estate agents in these areas who do rental properties(long term).A villa or house with pool would be nice 2/3 beds 1/2 baths with garden. We need to arrange a few viewings for when we arrive as we dont intend to stay in hotels or B&B for long.Any help would be great.
look forward to the meet up groups when we settle in.

Kyero has quite a few,but believe I recall a previous poster saying they wanted whole term upfront along with 2 mths depsoit and 1 mths finders fee, seems to be pretty standard practice. Also Costa Blanca News has a large property section with a good long term rental section, friend managed to arrange viewings for weekend of his arrival in Spain, seems to be mostly expats advertising so bit easier to deal with
What do you plan on doing in Spain?

It`s a bit naughty to charge two months up front deposit and also the finders fee is a total rip off.
Go elsewhere. ;-)

We only paid one month deposit and one month rent in advance.
There are loads of rentals, shop around. ;-)

Search the local English language papers such as Costa Blanca News, Coast Rider and The Leader and Round Town News. there are plenty of small ads there for rental properties. We were lucky and got our through personal recommendation, NO deposit, No finders fee..
