Default For those with State and Government Pensions

I read somewhere on here about a tax problem someone had with state / govt pensions.

My wife has a state pension taxed in Spain and a Government Pension taxed in the UK.

Up until now, things have been fine, but in line with what I recently read, her tax code has suddenly been slashed by half and she has lost a load of money every month. It seems as though (even though we have done out FD9 no uk tax forms and had them approved last year) they have suddenly decided to tax her on both pensions in the UK, and so the hassle starts in trying to get it reversed.

So a warning to those in this position .... check your pension payments to ensure the same doesnt happen to you

It's a common problem at the moment.
