thinking of moving to Spain :D

Hi names Danny, 23 from Kent. Thinking of going to Spain getting somewhere to rent around fuengirola area. Just wondered as I'll be new and won't have a credit score will I be able to rent somewhere as I'm unknown? And what's the average household bills for 1 person? I will be looking for a job but that's another matter as it's tough
Thanks everyone :)

Can you speak Spanish?
Do you have qualifications?
Have you enough money to last for at least a year?
If you do not get work, You will have to get private health cover for 1 year before paying into the Spanish NHS. system
Rquirements for residency are strict
You will be tax resident in Spain
Average bill for I person?
Depends on your lifestyle, rent etc Electricity is expensive.
You should be able to find somewhere cheap to rent

I speak some basicSpanish but will be taking night lessons.
I'm a qualified car mechanic and bricklayer but done telesales in the past.
I have only about 11k euros to take.
Just wondered the average electricity/gas and water bill per month for 1 person? I think I'll find something for about 300€ a month? Just wondered if I'll get it as I'll be a new person with no credit history
Thanks for your reply buddy :)

If you have a flat and use electricity to cook and heat your water, you could be paying 50- 80 euros a month, also depends on the potencia of your supply
It will be cheaper using bottled gas.
You need to be fluent in Spanish really, and even with your qualifications it will be hard to get a job, as I'm sure you realise the terrible job situation here
You have to have 600 euros a month coming in and/ or 6k in a Spanish bank, depends on the region.
You should ne able to rent for 300-350 per month, deprnds on area.

Would you consider renting a room in someone's house, maybe? They won't do credit checks but will want references. And, this method will mean your Spanish improves quickly, if you choose to live with Spaniards. MIL ANUNCIOS.COM: segunda mano, anuncios gratis, empleo, contactos, clasificados... is a site for finding some.
