Vertical window blinds with protruding handles!
Thinking of installing vertical blinds to two lounge UPVC windows. Only problem I foresee is that both windows have protruding handles to open them which would prevent the blinds moving across the windows unless I mounted the blinds on long support brackets in some way to bring them out from the windows which I think would look terrible even if they could support the weight.
So an option perhaps would be to install handles with lower profiles so that the blinds would clear them when drawn.
My questions therefore are:-
Are lower profile handles available and also has anyone been faced with this problem when considering vertical blinds and if so, what are the options?
I have attached a photo of one of the handles and can't even see how it is attached and I don't want to damage it by attempting its removal to have a closer look at its fixing, so I don't know how easy such a project would be.
Anyone any advice please?
Thanks.
