Is there a Job seekers allowance in Spain

Hi

Can you move to Spain and claim from the Spanish Government Job Seekers allowance when you get there ?

As is offered in Uk to all .Whilst trying to find a job.

yes you can also get a free house and supermarket vouchers

It was announced on the TV News today that from April anyone who doesn't speak English will not be entitled to benefits.

no you don't. free houses, supermarket vouchers, cars and money are only available in the UK !!!
p.s i know that for a fact...ex post office clerk dishing out the handouts on a daily basis!

Well they could always sue the Government for depriving them of their legal entitlements stating Human Rights..... they will get legal aid for that

you jest - there was a story a few years back of immigrants who were housed I think in Peckham, well the views werent what they were used to so they took the council to court and guess what..... they were moved to a place with a better view
