Hi Folks, this keeps bugging me ocasionally,- savory duck, I know it was something to eat in the 40s / 50s any other info to put my mind at rest?. Surely some of you are old enough to remember it? Tuk-tuk.

I lived in Oldham at the time, I think it was popular in Lancashire/Yorkshire (for the poor people during & just after the war?. But maybe someone knows more? Tuk-tuk.

Yes, and bakewell tart (a friend/neighbour makes possibly the best I've ever had. Yum!)
Still can't remember where I used to buy savoury duck, have a feeling it was either Bridgwater or Lowestoft - opposite sides of the country!
