i am thinking of buying a property in Huelva area, i have been told that it is one of the hottest and driest parts of spain, does anyone know what average temperatures are in May, June, July, August. Also what is the rainfall like in the winter

I think someone is pulling your leg! Huelva province is on the Atlantic coast, enjoys onshore breezes and moderate rainfall, it's renowned for its soft fruit and Seville oranges. Have a look at some of the weather sites and they will usually provide rainfall and temperature statistics. Currently temperatures are mid 20's °C

Mind you it's a great place to stay.
