Telegraph Spain bashing ....... again

Re: Telegraph Spain bashing ....... again
Question: "Did Jesus have brothers and sisters (siblings)?"
Answer: Jesus’ brothers are mentioned in several Bible verses. Matthew 12:46, Luke 8:19, and Mark 3:31 say that Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him. The Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas (Matthew 13:55). The Bible also tells us that Jesus had sisters, but they are not named or numbered (Matthew 13:56). In John 7:1-10, His brothers go on to the festival while Jesus stays behind. In Acts 1:14, His brothers and mother are described as praying with the disciples. Galatians 1:19 mentions that James was Jesus’ brother. The most natural conclusion of these passages is to interpret that Jesus had actual blood half-siblings.

I think the Mods are too heavy handed, shutting one of the longest running threads recently for a bit of namby pamby name calling was pathetic, maybe because the site is Amercian maybe its the way it is there. We don't see it as serious.
I actually feel a bit gutted that Stevies thread has been closed and for him too, very poor.
I went to reply on the 'Learning Spanish' thread yesterday with some advice and that too was closed.

I'm a big fan of Salvados, they go for the jugular, just watched a programme about help available for the old, disabled etc, (more accurately, help not available) absolutely appalling. Kudos to Jordi Évole for his report. I'd rather have a few fiddling the system in UK than the thousands in Spain that have been getting from very little to absolutely nothing. I feel for the people concerned.

It was a politically correct thing to do at the time and a shrewd move to get those of the book behind him too, (The Bible). Obviously If you consider Jesus as a religious nullity then the Muslim faith fails on the same grounds, ipso facto.
As for the existence of the guy who was called Jesus, there are some contemporary references to Jesus only during the last year of his life by the Roman annalists Eusebius and Josephus (excuse my spelling) This is fact, the documents exist. Before the last year of his life there appears to be no contemporary documentary reference to Jesus. Only with the appearance of Saul of Tarsus (Paul) does the invention start around 70AD and this was enlarged upon for the next 150 yrs. In 399 AD at Nicea the final touches of the early RC church were contrived and spread as fact or dogma.

Ta, haven't seen that, but also enjoy a bit of Comando Actualidad for what is actually happening in Spain, rather than someone telling us a few busy bars in Madrid means the country is booming. Some very different, very sad stories in those programmes.

Why do some of you find it so hard to accept that things are slowly getting better.
Maybe we the general economy will never return to the heady days of 2006-7 but is that such a bad thing when you consider how the global boom was financed.
Stop looking back so far and start to see that today was better than yesterday and tomorrow could see another improvement.
