Have you thought about Madrid once you get the TEFL?
There's usually teaching work to learn the ropes; accommodation is relatively easy to find and it's an interesting place to live for a few months, doing language exchanges to meet people and make friends, learn about the country and boost your Spanish.
Then head for the part of Spain which appeals to you the most.
