Taxes for the 1st 6 months?

Taxes for the 1st 6 months?
Hi Guys,
I could not see any threads relating to this so will ask the question. I am moving to work in Spain next week in the Burgos region and will obviously be a tax payer. My question is do I pay tax straight away or after the thresh hold of being there for 6 months or so before I am classed as a resident. I have a wife and two winkles who will join me in December and they need their docs translating and notorizing to prove that they are my dependants. They need the originals to apply for a shengen visa.
