I wonder if anyone recalls "the Garage"series from Marbella and that flash gangster type guy with eight mobile phones in his pocket who wanted enough spotlights fitting on his Humvee to light up a whole town ?

Now that guy must have been seriously deprived as a kid.

I can see the point in using the technique to spruce up an older car.

But no way can I understand the use on a new or nearly new car even if it is only a cheap Aston.

Some manufacturers offer incredibly expensive paint options.

Bentley do a "Liquid Metal" paint option for a mere £27000. Bugatti will charge you £200000 for the carbon fibre finish.

Are these in good taste? Who knows, but one thing for sure, it's a heck of a lot cheaper if you just get it "wrapped".
