Syria.

Who will blink first ? Something like a re-run of the Cuban missile crisis building up. If the Russians deliver and the system looks like becoming operational, Israel has made it's likely reaction fairly clear. Far from only being used to defend the Assad regime they could well target Israels main cities, which is probably their main intention anyway. |
Re: Syria.
Russia said it was delivering the missiles in response to the EU failing to resolve the conflict in a peaceful manner, so they responded by delivering missiles... Pretty much tells you all you need to know about the mentality of one of the most backward nations on earth really.

Re: Syria.
All very scary.
But as I have thought and said for some time a solution to the current economic problems is to get into a substantial war. Israel versus the Arabs? Who knows but war is a great leveller of debts. The UK will (in my opinion) run out of money in 2017. So a lot at stake. I thought those missiles were anti aircraft. Do the rebels have aircraft? Case rests. |
Re: Syria.
could someone explain why it is that the UK is against what is, by whatever process, the legal government of Syria ??
 |
