"at" symbol
Hi just bought a new Acer computer with Spanish keyboard. How do I get the "at" symbol please

I seem to recall that the right-hand AltGr key (to the right of the space bar) is used to access some symbols like the @ character. Try typing AltGr and the 2 key at the same time. Does the 2 key have an @ sign on it (next to the 2, not above it)?

you can try holding down the Alt key and hitting 64

Somewhere buried in the user settings is the option to change the "nationality" of the keyboard. Obviously it doesn't change the keys, but it will switch the "meaning" of the keys to what your used to. Even the UK and US have slightly different keyboards, with the @ and : swapped and the US layout has a # where the £ is on a British layout keyboard.

On my Spanish keyboard I hold down Ctrl and Alt press the 2 and then I have @@@@@

Also for a € sign use Alt-Gr and "E"

~ is Alt-GR and "4"
