Swimming teaching / Water aqua fit
My wife is qualified to the hilt in swimming teaching (has specialised in adult and child lessons).
Also regularly takes aquafit classes for the local authorities and private gyms. As there is a huge demand and shortage of teachers for this work in England, we would like assistance to find out what the position is on the Costas? Given the amount of pools that are in Spain, do you feel that there would be opportunities for her to provide this service (most likely have to be at resident's own private pool or at one that we would have, as I wouldn't imagine communal pools would work?) And/or providing aquafit classes at hotels (we suspect that the cost to hotel / holiday company be an issue, and that the much cheaper hotel entertainment staff will take (albeit not as professional) such classes? |

Have you considered that a person hiring this service privately might also expect the instructor to be a qualified nurse/physiotherapist/midwife?
Community pools are very sociable, and you might have luck with running an english spoken class (not under water! cough, cough!) Good luck in your venture! |
