His gingerness has been staying in a hotel where the pool was made with a liner, he's looked up on the net and there is a company in the u.k selling kits, everything included , liner, membrane, the pump etc. for £3000. sorry I'm not being very descriptive!! has anyone used one of these type of pools?:confused::confused:

Too much rocky ground, it would take an age to settle the underlay so no rocks stuck through.
Also future ground movement.
Everything is concreted and even then some break their backs and leak.

Oh i see yes, that does seem logical, although from what i can see of the ground that is cultivated where we are, it seems quite friable red earth, so maybe it would be a case of having a good dig first to see what it looked like?
Have you seen this type of pool contruction at all? I suppose the moulded plastic might be a better option, just trying to be able to afford pool and other stuff so looking for most economic way!:D

heres a site that might be helpful - prefab pools - not in your area but will give you an idea of prices

a friend of mine had a pool liner, I dont think he had any problems with it but I will email him now and ask him

ok got an email back from my friend - his was a small pool (not sure of the size) said it cost him approx 7000€ ( that was 4 years ago) and I would think that would of included the excavation

he said he didnt have any problems with leaks, the only problem he had one year was the pool went green so he put in "shock chlorine" and the bottom of the liner went wrinkly after that - so he recommends only using tablets

Its the origin of cricket, you have a ball, a bat, and a trap, the ball is put on the front of the trap, you hit the bacvk, the ball comes up and you hit it, down the run, depending on how it lands is whether you get a run or not. The opposing team bowl, and if they hit the end of the trap the opposing team member is then out.I think thats it, I just stand around drinking and chatting up the men lolol:rofl::rofl:
