Summer in Spain for Working Artists?...Help.
 

hi there expats

my wife and i are working artists from England and Ireland respectively, and wish to visit Spain in the summer from june to september. we are looking to find accommodation that would also work as studio/art space. we are doing this on a budget and would literally be looking for something such as a small farmhouse/cottage or country hut. we are not looking on this as a holiday, but as a minimal, cheap living and work space for three months, therefore do not want to book through a travel agents. any ideas or suggestions, links etc. to something relevant, might be easier finding something like that within Spain. would appreciate any feedback, thanks, Tom Harrison

we are attending a wedding in malaga, though also have a contact in san sebastien. area isn't too important, though something rural, as once we arrive we intend to stay for the three months.

be aware of being to rural, you can become target for robbers, (or so I have heard)

Jeff and Jane are lovely people - there's an art workshop facility nearby.

Admin./Moderators.....no, I'm not advertising...there's lots of interesting info. on flora, fauna, surrounding towns, villages etc. on their site - lovely.
