Stupid Questions
 

Without directly pointing a finger! does anyone else think there have been some seriously "stupid questions" posted on here recently?
Maybe some are windups but I can't believe people add fuel to the fire and respond to them. Have some people never heard of the "Search" feature or "Google?"
At least Andy Pipken is funny........................sometimes!

I think they tend to go off topic pretty quickly, and yes, I think most of them are a wind up, unless you're referreing to mine of course :D

more posts, more stars, and the little blue boxes increase as people give you Karma, you can check who gave you the karma by clicking where it says my profile at the top of the page.

yes thats a good idea , i agree theres far to many sensless posts on here i for one will not respond to none interest posts , and if we all do that that will stop them ....

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to cause any offence or irritation. I'm new to this site and I've found a lot of your posts really helpful. I HAVE searched on google! but my Spanish is not great yet and I was hoping someone might be able to give me some advice.

You just keep on asking as many questions as you like Kyla ;) It can save a lot of time trawling through adverts and personal recommendations are always better. :thumbup:

Hi there, and welcome :)

Please don't worry about your questions!
The main idea of this site is (I hope!) for people to be able to share advice and experiences; and to offer support to anyone needing it.

I have a feeling that the thread starter may have been referring to a sudden influx of questions that appeared to either be "wind ups", tongue in cheek or perhaps intending to be a bit inflammatory!?! :sneaky:

Sometimes there are a few harsh words exchanged, but then it does usually all end up with people either agreeing to disagree, or in "group hugs" all round!! :D

You fire away and ask whatever you like - there are loads of people who are only to happy to help if they can.

I think there is a good balance of serious questions and light entertainment. If all the threads were serious this forum could turn quite depressing..

Define a stupid post ?? All forums are saturated with people often asking the same questions, which can often be answered by a search. Often people are venturing into the world of forums for the first time. And I personally love the way a topic goes off at a tangent, then by some elliptical route sometimes comes back again. Just think of the forum as being a bit like one of those drunken dinner parties where everybody gets involved in an intense discussion that goes nowhere !
