Strange weather we're having at the moment
This was the view out of our house the other night about midnight
The valley was totally shrouded in a foggy mist and all you could see were the lights from the towns shining through ... spooky

Good pic mate, we have been getting similar here but during the day over the sea, looks like we are over the clouds.

We have been getting the same sort of thing early morning, but it's not fog here, it's the smoke from the fires where they are burning the olive tree cuttings.

Gorgeous picture. I've been seeing similar weather here in Tarragona. I live in a mountain valley overlooking Tarragona, and a couple of days, bright and sunny, there have been clouds covering the lower areas. My girlfriend went from sunny and bright to dark and cloudy in a matter of minutes!

My wife’s the same, she’s been working for most of the day and came home with a long face complaining about the awful weather. We both watched the Spanish weather forecast this evening and her face got even longer.

These two were taken recently. Its not mist, that is actually the cloudline, I know we are 700metres above sea level but even so, it was a very eery experience. Over the space of 40 minutes watching out of the windows the clouds get lower and lower over the surrounding mountains until they sat at ground level. Only experienced this once before, back in the UK in the Lake District.
